About the Role

We’re seeking a passionate and self-motivated Online Art Gallery Manager to help us grow The Painted Dog into one of the premier destinations for original wildlife art in the United States.

This is a commission-based role ideal for someone with a background in art, sales, e-commerce, or gallery management—someone who loves connecting people with beautiful things and believes in the power of conservation through creativity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Artist Recruitment: Identify, invite, and onboard talented wildlife artists to showcase their work in the gallery.

  • Artist Support: Assist artists with uploading artwork, writing descriptions, pricing, and updating inventory.

  • Customer Engagement: Respond to inquiries, facilitate sales, and ensure a smooth buying experience.

  • Promotion & Marketing: Collaborate with our team to promote the gallery, featured artists, and available pieces through social media, newsletters, and content marketing.

  • Sales Tracking: Monitor and manage sales commissions for each transaction.

What You Bring

  • A love for wildlife, art, and storytelling

  • Experience in sales, art management, or e-commerce (preferred, not required)

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and remotely

  • Familiarity with online platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or similar

  • Bonus: social media or digital marketing experience

Compensation

This is a commission-based position, with a percentage earned on every completed sale through the gallery. As the gallery grows, so does your earning potential.
